UNO OFFERS 15 PERCENT DISCOUNT MAY 28 THROUGH JUNE 1
Capping off the final week of its Local Hero Appreciation Month, UNO (www.unos.com) will honor our nation’s armed forces with a 15 percent discount from May 28 through June 1, 2012. UNO wants to show its appreciation to the men and women who defend our freedom. All military personnel and veterans will receive the discount (not including alcohol or specials) during their specified week (Monday - Friday only) when they show identification such as a military or veteran’s ID.
“This is something close to my heart. Our military have put their lives on the line for us. We owe them a debt of gratitude,” said Frank Guidara, CEO of UNO and a Vietnam Veteran. Anything we can do to show our appreciation is still small in comparison to what they’ve done for us. Whether it’s sending pizzas to soldiers in Afghanistan, throwing pizza parties for patients in Veterans’ Hospitals or supporting their families with a small token of thanks, we will continue to do everything we can to try and make their lives a little happier.”
