As 2012 approaches, it would be a good time to remember how the Village Trustees have treated our local small businesses. First they gave our tax money to a Hotel that went bankrupt as soon as they took millions from us. Then they kicked out five small businesses who been there 20 years, to let Walmart come back into our lives along with an $800,000.00 low to no interest loan. Gee, I wonder why a big company like Walmart, would need our money to build? I would love to see how much some people made off this deal. Woodman's? Well after the Board Members stalled them almost to death, they got an out of the way place. And for the small businesses that were forced to move, the Village Board couldn't give a Damn about them! There was money for Walmart, but for the not connected with the right people-people. Well, their plight was a one month eviction notice + no money to relocate. Oh yea, after 20 or more years and thousands of dollars in leaky roof damage, let’s call it blighted! Don't hold the owner of that moldy mess accountable. Let’s just give Rich Connelly and Walmart a fat juicy check!
And let the taxpayers pay for the infrastructure-sewers-water-street access + more big trucks rolling into town-not to mention the crime that Walmart's bring. That is what the Village Board used to keep Woodmans out of the area. Maybe Woodman's didn’t use the right incentives.
As far as the ones that had to relocate? Well to hell with them, their too small to put up an expensive fight, and we don't get anything out of it. Has anyone ever looked at the first thing you see when you drive into Menomonee Falls? That’s right- old run down rental homes that aren't fit to live in. But I guess the Village Board doesn't have what it takes {and I'm using mild language here} to take on Ernie Von Schledorn. They're therefore-NOT BLIGHTED!

you might be next! Oh yea, a warning to any small to medium size businesses that might want to come to Menomonee Falls. STAY OUT OF THIS TOWN!! WE DON'T NEED YOUR KIND AROUND HERE!! I’m all for more business in this town, but everyone should be treated honestly and fair. Not just the Elite little click that runs this town!

enough to relocate? I hope you have the BEAST YEAR OF YOUR LIVES, because you played fair and made it,despite THEIR best efforts! I hope one day the meek will again inherit this town, and the corrupt will wither away in drunken misery!
I think it’s time for a thorough investigation into these dealings, and maybe get some trustworthy Trustee’s!
