What a tragedy!

I'm sure you have all heard of the tragic school shooting. It's a parent’s worstnightmare! You send your child to school-{somewhere you Trust}, and you get a
phone call like that! It would be Horrible! Everyone is asking -WHY? Well it's no big mystery. Some kid couldn't deal with whatever pain he found in his life, and wanted everyone to see how much he hurt. He lost all faith in whatever kept him sane before. What can we do? There is always someone that just can't handle life. Most people seek help before hurting others. Most people are good. Sometimes they get confused and have nowhere to turn and just want someone to understand them. It's been happening since Time began. Thow Shalt Not Kill!

What is relatively new though is the way we leave ourselves unprotected. People always protect themselves as they should. Parents protect their children with
their lives if need be. It’s what we do. Why is it then that we send off our children to a public place with no protection! Yes, the crazies are out there! They will always be there. Why do they choose a school?-A Church?-A Gun Free Theater in Colorado? Yes a GUN FREE Theater!  What the news didn’t report in Colorado, is that before the theater shooting, someone, a few months before that, went into a church and started shooting. An ARMED parishioner pulled out his gun and shot that guy dead, before he could harm anyone else. Why do these shooters always choose the schools and gun-free zones? BECAUSE THEY ARE COWARDS! Because they can! Because we make ourselves easy targets Yes, it is that simple. They want to hurt as many as they can and don’t want to hurt anymore.

So what is the answer? QUIT MAKING OURSELVES A TARGET! The police can’t and shouldn’t be everywhere. They can’t really stop that type of crime anyway. They
are not mind-readers. They can only come, after someone calls, and by that time it is TOO LATE! I would not send my child to a Public School, unless someone at that school said;”I will protect your child when they are here!

That is all I have to say except, that we should demand that when we send our children to a public school, they should be protected by the same 2nd amendment right, that we are all protected by! We trust the teachers to teach our kids, why not protect them also?
