Here's Your Last Chance Milwaukee Pet Lovers
Great Lakes Pet Expo has a little something for everyone.

I love my dogs. We all love our pets. We provide them with the best of everything we can-the best food, the best toys, the best trainers (positive of course), the best vet, etc. Many of us will go to the ends of the earth to provide for our dogs.
If you are in southeastern Wisconsin, a unique opportunity is coming up. This is a chance to check out dog food, toys, vets, groomers and more all in one spot. The Great Lakes Pet Expo will be held on Feb. 4. This is a huge event with over 200 booths of rescues, shelters, breeders, and more. The expo was started to provide shelters and rescues a place to showcase their adoptable animals in one place. It provides an opportunity to reach a large number of people in one place. For some groups, it is their major fundraising and awareness event.
Why is the Great Lakes Pet Expo so important? Many do not realize it is a charitable event. The expo is sponsored by AWARE-Alliance of Animal Rehoming Efforts. AWARE is a consortium of rescues and shelters working together to benefit companion animals in Wisconsin (Full disclosure, I am a member and president of AWARE). AWARE provides funding for low cost spays and neuters, community education, emergency care, transport of animals around the state and more. Thousands of animals are given a second chance at life annualy by AWARE members.
