April Movies at the Falls Library

The Menomonee Falls Public Library will have two offerings for its April Monthly Movies.The films to be shown are LES MISERABLES and LINCOLN.


The movies will be shown in the library’s Meeting/Community Room off the main lobby.  Admission is free to all, based on the movie’s rating.  Seating is limited to 80 chairs, so please arrive early.

LES MISERABLES  
Tuesday, April 16 at 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 18 at 6:00 PM and Saturday, April 20 at 2:00 PM:


(2012) Starring Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe and Anne Hathaway.  Set in post-Revolutionary France, Jean Valjean is released from prison but breaks parole to set up a new life, while evading the harsh Inspector Javert.  When he agrees to look after his friend’s daughter, their lives change forever.  Anne Hathaway won supporting actress for this role.  Directed by Tom Hooper.  158 minutes, PG-13.

LINCOLN
Tuesday, April 16 at 6:00 PM, Thursday, April 18 at 2:00 PM and Saturday, April 20 at 9:15 AM:  


(2012) Starring Daniel Day-Lewis, Sally Field and David Strathairn.  In 1865, the Civil War is still raging and Abraham Lincoln tries to pass an amendment banning slavery forever, with some in his cabinet trying to block it.  Daniel Day-Lewis won Best Actor for this role.  Directed by Steven Spielberg.  150 minutes, PG-13.
