Though it's already the largest Optimist club in Wisconsin with 195 members, the Menomonee Falls club is seeking additional members. A service organization whose motto is "Bringing Out the Best in Kids", the Falls Optimists started with 25 members in 1973. Steady growth continues, but there's always a need for more volunteers.
A special evening program and meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 1st at 6:15 p.m. at Village Bowl starting with free pizza at 5:30. Aimed at prospective members, there will be a special guest speaker.
The regular meeting is held on Wednesday mornings at the Community Center at 7:15 a.m. with quarterly night meetings held in various location around the Village.
