The Kiwanis Family includes your local Kiwanis club, Circle K Club in the colleges and universities, Key Club at Menomonee Falls High School, Builders Club at North Middle School and Aktion clubs in most communities.  Kiwanis is worldwide service organization that serves the children of the world.   Our club was chartered in April 1956 and we currently have 40 active members.

We actively support the following programs in our community and throughout the world.  These programs include:

  • Vocational Scholarships for a local high school senior that is planning to attend a vocational school

  • Key Club Scholarships for active Key Clubbers and Builders club members to attend a college of their choice

  • Badger Boys and Girls

  • Adopt a Highway projects

  • Local Food Pantry

  • Provide dictionaries to local 3rd graders within the Menomonee Falls School district

  • Charter organization for Menomonee Falls Key Club and North Middle School Builders Club and Cub Scout Pack 60 at Shady Lane School

  • Menomonee Falls Little League T-shirts and major contribution to the Menomonee Falls Little League baseball complex

  • The ELIMINATE Project  Kiwanis and Unicef have joined forces to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus.  The disease steals the lives of nearly 60000 babies and mothers each year.  The cost of this project will exceed $110 million dollars and we expect to compete this project by 2016.  Kiwanis and UNICEF join forces to tackle iodine deficiency disorders, achieving one of the most significant public health successes of the 20th century.

Join us for Dinner on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 6:30PM at Trysting Place Pub (Good Hope and Appleton Ave), Menomonee Falls.  Enjoy learning more about Kiwanis and a presentation by JIM JESKEWITZ talking of the “History of Menomonee Falls”.  We look forward to seeing you attend our 2012 membership meeting. Attendance is not a commitment to join our club
