On July 19, 2010, a couple living in the N7200 block of Paseo Lane contacted Menomonee Falls police after they found their home had been broken into after someone smashed out a window in the rear of the house. When officers arrived, they didnβt know if anyone was still inside, but there were drops of blood present and a moderate amount of blood by the broken window.
Officers found a knife taken from the kitchen with blood on it and placed in an area of the home where a strong box containing a penny collection and $2 bills had been, but was now missing.

Officers collected DNA from the scene and a test result completed in April showed the blood belonged to Osburn who is the cousin of the woman living in the home.
Osburn was confronted by police about the incident, but he denied being involved.
Heβs currently out of custody and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.Β
