Harvey Moy's Chinese American

, located at N89W16754 Appleton Ave., has been serving up Chinese food in the area for the last 36 years.  Walking into the restaurant, the customer is greeted by walls of pictures of famous people and local personalities who have dined there, as well as a five-foot Buddha statue. Lights are kept low to create a more inviting atmosphere, but televisions also hang from the walls keeping customers up to date on the latest sporting events. 

Customers are treated to a friendly wait staff and meals are made to order.  The owner, Harvey Moy, commonly stops by tables to visit with patrons, seeing to it that guests are enjoying themselves.

Mr. Moy opened the restaurant over three decades ago, and in that time it has become a local legend.  With its all-famous Crab Rangoon ($7.75 for 6), the establishment quickly won the praise of local publications.  Harvey Moy's has been rated among the best by the Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel 10 times over the years.

The restaurant offers an all-you-can-eat lunch buffet from 11 to 2:30 for $7.55.  Meal orders can also be phoned in for take out.  

Some of the menu items include Szechwan Chicken ($10.35), Beef Broccoli ($10.95), and Sweet Sour Pork ($9.45).  

Hours for Harvey Moy's are Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 11 a.m. - 9 p.m.

Friday and Saturday 11:30 a.m. -10 p.m.
