Man Allegedly Spits and Pulls Knife on Park Worker

Suspect got angry when he was told to pay a fee to reenter the park if he left, and spit in the face of an employee and threatened him with a knife.

There are very few things in life that are free, but when one Milwaukee man found that out - he got so angry he could spit.

A 23-year-old Milwaukee man is facing charges after he allegedly pulled a knife on a worker at Menomonee County Park after he was informed he would have to pay in order to reenter the park.

Gustavo E. Cintron Morales was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Friday with one count of disorderly conduct with use of a dangerous weapon. If convicted, he faces up to 90 days in jail and $1,000 in fines.

According to the criminal complaint:

At 10:14 a.m. July 1, the worker was at the entrance of the park when Cintron Morales pulled up to the exit from within the park in a Honda with four other men. He asked if they could reenter without paying if they left seeing as they got there before the worker, however, he told them they couldn’t.

Cintron Morales became upset and began to yell at the worker who said he would call a park ranger if they reentered, so then drove the car back through to the entrance, then Cintron Morales got out with a knife and walked towards the man making a slashing movement.

The worker picked up his radio, but Cintron Morales knocked it out of his hand. He went to pick it up and when he did so, Cintron Morales spit in his face.

The victim said he would call police, so Cintron Morales told the man to β€œremember this face and tattoos,” then drove off.

The men were found inside the park by Waukesha County sheriff’s deputies and Cintron Morales appeared intoxicated. He denied having a knife during an incident, however, a man and woman had been behind them while waiting to enter the park to have a picnic when they saw the event unfold. When they asked the worker if he was alright, he said β€œno, they threatened me with a knife.”

Cintron Morales will make his initial appearance in court Sept. 10.Β
