• Middleton Police cite e-moto rider, highlighting rules riders may not know (wmtv15news.com) — Middleton police are cracking down on improperly used e-moto bikes and reminding residents that these faster devices are banned from local bike paths, sidewalks, and trails. Riders must have a driver’s license and registration, and parents can be cited if their underage kids ride illegally. School officers and a new city guide are being used to educate families about the rules. 
• County welcomes Youth Governance Program members (stoughtonnews.com) — Middleton high school students will help shape Dane County policy this year through the Youth Governance Program, serving on county board committees as nonvoting members and working with mentors. The board also honored 4-H ahead of National 4-H Week, highlighting local youth leadership and civic engagement opportunities across Dane County.
