The shooting was one of three that caused mass panic in the hours following Friday's playoff game between the Bucks and Boston Celtics.

MILWAUKEE, WI — Three men face charges in connection with a downtown Milwaukee shooting that left 17 people wounded and caused mass panic in the hours following Friday’s playoff game between the Bucks and Boston Celtics.
Marquise L. Jackson, 24; Christopher L. Murry, 23; and Lemont R. Siller, 21, have been charged with seven counts of first-degree reckless injury, as well as one count of conspiracy to commit aggravated battery, police announced Wednesday. If convicted, they could each face as much as 220 years in prison and $750,000 in fines, according to police.
The trio conspired to harm a person referred to in a charging document only as “RL,” and injured seven other people, also identified by initials, a criminal complaint said, noting more charges are expected to be filed in connection with additional victims.

Siller told police he had a longstanding dispute with RL, and saw RL on Friday in the area of North Water Street, according to the complaint.
Surveillance video of the shooting showed Siller, Jackson, Murry and other unknown people position themselves around RL, the complaint said. Shortly after 11 p.m., one of the unidentified people removed a handgun from his pocket while facing RL, at which point an unknown person with RL also took out a handgun and shot at the first person, who returned fire, according to the complaint. Siller, Jackson, Murry and five other people all fired at RL, who fled but was shot, the complaint said.

“… officers heard dozens of gunshots and observed several hundred citizens fleeing from the area,” the complaint said. “… the shooters fired shots in their direction nearly striking several of the officers.”
Siller, Jackson and Murry were among 10 people arrested by the following morning, law enforcement said. Prior to the altercation in which the trio were involved, two men and a teenage girl were injured in a separate shooting, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported at the time, and another man was shot in a third incident.
