Man Escaped U.S. Corrections Custody At Milwaukee Airport: MCSO
The man escaped from U.S. Corrections custody Tuesday night when he was being brought through General Mitchell International Airport.

MILWAUKEE, WI — The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office and Milwaukee Police are searching for a man who escaped from U.S. Corrections custody Tuesday night at General Mitchell International Airport, according to a news release.
The Sheriff's Office identified the escapee as Robert R. Johnson, Jr., 39. Police said the private inmate services company was bringing Johnson from Texas to Rock County, Wisconsin when he escaped around 9:30 p.m. A search is underway for Johnson who police said is facing charges related to aggravated assault and burglary.
Police asked anyone who sees Johnson to call 911 immediately.

Police described Johnson as being 5'7" and weighing 145 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket, white t-shirt and blue ripped pants. Police said he has a tattoo of a star on his face. He also had on a single handcuff and was wearing a "RIPP" belt.
Police said Johnson is a native of Rockford, Illinois, and that he has no known ties to Milwaukee.
