Reports indicated that the suspect’s vehicle managed to flee the scene of that crash, only to crash into a utility pole, knocking it over. The driver continued driving the wrong way on Ryan Rd., and struck an Oak Creek police officer’s squad head-on, disabling the wrong-way vehicle for good.

Police took the driver of the vehicle into custody at the scene of the crash with the squad car. During a search of the driver, police found a loaded firearm in his front pocket.
