Their effort, inspired by their daughter's lifesaving care, has grown to more than 50 participating spots and lit downtown buildings blue while raising over a quarter million dollars since 2019.
   

4. Waukesha County guitarist remembers opening for Dolly Parton in Milwaukee (wisn.com) — A Waukesha County guitarist is recalling what it was like to open for Dolly Parton at Milwaukee's Pabst Theater back in 1977, as fans mourn her recent death. He says that night shaped his approach to performing, while Parton went on to play Milwaukee venues like The Riverside and Summerfest throughout her storied career.
