Spring might not be here yet, but inside the Milaeger's greenhouse a bustling farmers market was filled with the sights and sounds of spring
RACINE COUNTY, WI — Outside, robins pick at frozen berries left over from fall and squirrels dig away at frozen ground. On Sunday, the temperature was much warmer at The Great Lakes Farmers Market.
The event runs Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Sunday except over Christmas and New Year's. The Great Lakes Farmers Market is hosted by Milaeger's inside the Expo Greenhouse at Milaeger's Racine Location, 4838 Douglas Ave., Racine and operates rain, snow or shine.

Honey, cheese, eggs, greens and microgreens, meats, breads and other bakery, mushrooms, canned goods including homemade jams, apples, olive oil, organic oils, kettle corn, empanadas and breakfast burritos, homemade soups, local beer, Bloody Marys, and more. Local artisans also make regular appearances.
