When it came to voters in Racine County, residents in affluent communities came out as the clear winners. Will they repeat in 2016?

RACINE COUNTY -- Close races for president and U.S. Senate drew heavy voter turnouts during the last presidential election cycle in 2012, when nearly 70 percent of Wisconsin's 4.4 million eligible voters in Wisconsin went to the polls.

According to figures compiled by Patch.com, voters in North Bay, Wind Point and Elmwood Park went to the polls at a rate of nearly 90 percent of all eligible voters. A majority of Racine County communities' voter turnouts were above 70 percent.
