BONK! Fundraiser To Feature Live Music, Poetry

The BONK! live performance series will host its first-ever fundraiser at the Racine Public Library in a special after-hours event. Details:

RACINE, WI — The BONK! live performance series will host its first-ever “BONK!-athon” fundraiser at the Racine Public Library in a special after-hours event on Saturday, April 21, starting at 4 p.m.

BONK!athon is a pledge-driven fundraiser where people raise money for a 5-minute performance slot on stage to perform a poem, song, dance, short story, monologue, skit, comedy routine, Etc. This marathon of talent will continue for 4 to 6 hours (depending on how many performers sign up). There will be food and beverage available as well as a 50/50 raffle.

Admission for audience members to this event is $10 per person. Children 12 and younger are free. Performers, and donors who contribute $35 or more before the event, will also have free admission. Audience members are not expected to stay the entire time, but are welcome to come and go throughout this event.

There will be food and beverage available, as well as a 50/50 raffle and spaces designated for socializing away from the performances.

There are still a few available slots for performers and artists of all ages to perform at the event.
At least $35 must be raised for each 5-minute slot. All the proceeds will go towards funding
future BONK! events, particularly to paying featured performers and supporting our volunteers.
