Free Texas Roadhouse Lunch To Benefit Special Olympics

MOUNT PLEASANT, WI — On Friday, April 6 Special Olympics of Wisconsin will be teaming up with Texas Roadhouse and local law enforcement for the Guardians of the Flame free lunch fundraiser to benefit more than 1,500 local Special Olympics athletes.
Texas Roadhouse, 6228 Durand St, Mt Pleasant, will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to serve pulled pork sandwich, fries, applesauce along with soda.
Local law enforcement officers, Special Olympics athletes, and wait staff will team up to serve this free lunch, with 100 percent of the tips to help fund children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Officers will also be providing delivery to businesses if you would like an easy lunch at work. You can also call ahead and pick up lunch.

Fundraisers like this, ensure that Special Olympics Wisconsin can continue to provide programming in sports, health, education, and community building. In 2017, the Kenosha Texas Roadhouse location raised over $4,500.
