Neubauer Announces Re-Election Campaign Start
Greta Neubauer (D-Racine) won a special election in January. Now she's gearing up for another election.

RACINE, WI - State Representative Greta Neubauer (D-Racine) announced Friday that she is seeking re-election for the 66th Assembly District, which encompasses much of the City of Racine.
Neubauer, was first elected in the Jan. 2018 special election following the resignation of former Rep. and current City of Racine Mayor Cory Mason. Neubauer defeated John Tate III in the Democratic primary. No Republican candidates filed for election. The next general election for the 66th Assembly District is Tuesday, Nov. 6.
“In my first three months in office, I have been honored to represent the people of Racine. In such a short time, a lot has happened -- I have voted on hundreds of bills, including reforming our juvenile justice system and closing the troubled Lincoln Hills Juvenile Facility. I voted against attacks on working people and against deregulation that sells our environment to the highest bidder. I have advocated for gun safety legislation for our community, and I went to court against Scott Walker to fight for equal representation in our state legislature for all Wisconsinites,” she said in a prepared statement Friday.
