The #ParksideGo PokeScavenger Hunt is recommended for young players, those who wish to meet new friends, and anyone who wants to learn more about playing Pokemon Go. Trainers who complete a trainer registration card will be entered in a prize drawing to be held at 4 p.m. (trainers must be present to win).

In addition, trainers will be playing on one of three traditional Pokemon teams (Mystic - blue, Instinct - yellow, and Valor – red) and team prizes will be awarded.

During the event, two locations on campus will be designated human and device “recharge zones” featuring ample USB charging ports (trainers must have their own USB cables), water and lemonade. The “recharge zones” are sponsored by UW-Parkside Student Health and Counseling, Disability Services, Admissions, and Campus Technology Services.

Prizes will also be awarded to the first 10 trainers who capture a selfie at each of the six UW-Parkside Pokestops, and post the selfies to @UWParkside on Twitter.

Organizers of the event encourage all Pokemon GO trainers to play safely. Trainers under the age of 18 should attend with a chaperone. Private vendors selling water or other goods are prohibited.
