Racine County 4-H to Host Open House to Learn about 4-H
In Racine County, more than 1,000 4-H youth and 250 volunteers from the community are involved in 4-H.

BURLINGTON, WI — Racine County 4-H is hosting an Open House for kids and adult volunteers to learn more about the 4-H program. Grades 5K-13 and interested adult volunteers are invited to attend.
The Open House will be on Tuesday, August 21 at Raymond Elementary School, 2659 76th
Street in Franksville. Visitors are directed to enter the glass doors on the east side by the gymnasium.
Organizers say an informational presentation will begin at 6:00 p.m. and will be followed by an opportunity to meet with and learn about all 16 community clubs, as well as a variety of projects until 8:00 p.m. 4-H is a youth development program open to youth in grades 5K through 13.

Youth who belong to 4-H participate in educational, hands-on learning projects, working in partnership with adult volunteers, to learn project related skills, develop leadership skills, and serve their communities.
