Search Continues For Missing Racine County Woman
Authorities say Lynn Rickard went missing in June and has not been found. With fall officially here, officials say visibility is greater.

RACINE COUNTY, WI — The Racine County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate Lynn Rickard’s disappearance and has continued to investigate information that is received by the public.
Rickard, 59, was reported missing on June 25, after she reportedly left her Kansasville home on foot in an unknown direction. She was last seen wearing black-and-white pajamas. At the time, authorities were notified that Rickard was possibly suffering from mental illness and was reliant on an oxygen tank.
Several large-scale searches were conducted since Rickard’s disappearance which included areas in Kenosha County. The Racine Sheriff’s Office has utilized multiple Fire and EMS resources throughout the region. The search has also been supplemented by Wisconsin Emergency Management, the Civil Air Patrol, Wisconsin State Patrol and Flight for Life.

'Every Resource' Being Used to Locate Missing Woman
More than 130 law enforcement officials used "every means necessary" according to Racine County Sheriff Christopher Schmaling, in an attempt to locate Rickard. She was not found.
Search Continues
According to Sheriff's officials, on Monday, Nov. 6, at 11:00am, the Racine County Sheriff’s Office and Kansasville Fire Department will continue searching for Lynn Rickard in the Kansasville area.
Sheriff Christopher Schmaling said, “due to the time of year, foliage is reduced, crops have been cultivated, and visibility is greater. The Sheriff’s Office remains committed to bringing closure to the family of Lynn Rickard."
