Board Preview: Businesses Move Forward

New bar and restaurant and new banquet facility request license approval.

This week's Common Council meeting on Tuesday, April 26 will feature the following decisions:

A resolution declaring certain weeds to be noxious will be reviewed and set for approval, along with a resolution to appoint a Weed Commissioner for the city.

The council will also consider the approval of the purchase of a pickup truck for the Department of Public Works.

Having been vacant for about six months, the building which housed the "Venezia" restaurant has been purchased by a new owner, Halley Karas.  There will be an approval of a retailers license for "Sauced, LLC" at the same address. 

Renovations have progressed at the former Atonement Lutheran, purchased by the owners of Bushy's Pub and Grill.  The banquet facility is now seeking an approval of a retailers’ license for the new business, Bush Gardens.
