Brownlow Secures Nomination Signatures
Candidate for 83rd Assembly District files maximum signatures to qualify for election.
Jim Brownlow's campaign announced that their candidate has met the requirements - and then some - to qualify as a candidate in the 83rd Assembly District election. The seat was vacated by Scott Gunderson last year, and Brownlow is the Democrat running against Republican candidate David Craig.
Brownlow submitted 400 signatures, which were the maximum allowed by law, and a release from his campaign stated that "the public turnout to sign for his nomination was an overwhelming 882 signatures."
Brownlow called the the response "a strong indication that Wisconsin citizens want Madison to pay more attention to the needs of us average folks."
