Business Director Resigning at Muskego-Norway
Scot Ecker will leave the school district on Dec. 28 after 4 1/2 years of service to take a position with Carthage College; Supervisor of Building and Grounds Gary Rosploch will retire in February.
While the job was posted on the Muskego-Norway School District's website last week, confirmation on Scot Ecker's departure was not made public until Monday night, when the School Bard accepted his resignation as director of business services.
Ecker told Muskego Patch that he would leave at the end of December to take a position as vice president at Carthage College in Kenosha.
Ecker's departure is another in a string of job announcements from the district this year, which began with the resignation of Superintendent Joe Schroeder in July. His leaving led to several internal promotions as the filling of every position led to the opening of another. Four schools saw changes in their principals' offices over the summer.Ā

In addition, Gary Rosploch, who has been supervisor of building and grounds for 21 years, is retiring in February. He submitted his retirement papers in September, but the board had not made the move public until Monday night.
Rosploch had joined the district in 1991 and had previously served in similar roles in Franklin, River Hills and Waukesha school districts.

The board will begin the search process as soon as possible for Ecker's position, and by mid-December to replace Rosploch.
