📰 News we're reading
• Waukesha County's lowest midgrade gas price recorded at $4.39 for week ending Oct. 3 (waukeshatimes.com) — Muskego drivers are paying among the lower midgrade gas prices in Waukesha County, with recent reports showing detailed price comparisons across nearby communities. The county's average midgrade price still sits below the statewide average, and national fuel costs remain volatile amid global supply concerns, so filling up locally may save you a bit at the pump.
• West De Pere backs up No. 1 ranking as Week 8 delivers upsets, unbeaten showdowns across Wisconsin (cbs58.com) — Muskego's football team is riding a three-game win streak, including a dramatic overtime upset of then–No. 1 Arrowhead and a dominant 41-0 shutout of Kettle Moraine at home. Those results helped reshape Division 1 rankings statewide as West De Pere, Hamilton and several other undefeated programs strengthened their playoff positioning heading into the regular-season finale.
