Chiaverotti Announces Resignation from Chamber, County Board

Mayor-elect submits her formal resignation, stating her appreciation for opportunities.

Kathy Chiaverotti, who won the mayoral election against opponent Luke Hudock on April 5, announced her resignation from the Muskego Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism and the Waukesha County Board.

While not a surprise, the resignations do leave vacancies at the helm of the Chamber, and a replacement will probably not come until sometime in June, as well as for representation for Muskego (District 23) on the County level.

"I've enjoyed growing the organization (Chamber) and working closely with the board members over the past 10 years," Chiaverotti stated in a release.  "I've also enjoyed working with fellow county supervisors and staff members for Waukesha County."

Chiaverotti will be sworn in as mayor on April 19, 7pm at City Hall.
