City of Muskego to Transition from Time Cards to Electronic Time Records
Change expected to eliminate over 15 hours of duplicate tasks by city employees per month.
The Common Council last night unanimously approved a request in the amount of $8,200 brought forth by Sharon Mueller, the city’s Director of Finance and Administration, for a software program upgrade that will allow the city to make the move to electronic time records for its employees.
Mueller estimated that the transition to electronic time records from paper time cards will save approximately 16 hours per month in duplication of tasks by employees, time which, she stated, can be devoted to other projects.
The 7-0 vote followed unanimous 3-0 approval by the Finance Committee earlier in the evening.
