Don't Forget to Vote

Local races and judicial contests are hoped to draw higher-than-average turnout

The signs are everywhere - literally.

Tuesday April 5th is the spring general election throughout the state, and locally the interest in the mayor's race as well as county and state judicial contests are hoped to bring more voters out to the polls.

Depending on what part of the city you live in, your ballot may include aldermanic races, only one of which involve an incumbent and challenger. That race, offering incumbent Keith Werner and challenger Heidi Lindhorst takes place in the city's 4th district.
