Meeting Preview: Parks & Recreation

The Parks and Recreation Board will be meeting at 5:30 Monday and among the items of interest on the agenda are the following:

Renee Reckin and Lisa Niles with the Little Muskego Lake Association will be speaking to the board about Idle Isle Park improvement

An email from Alderman Dan Soltysiak regarding a bike/walking path along Hillendale Drive for eventual access to the Borst property will be discussed.  The land has been the subject of acquisition by the city to develop a natural area with hiking trails near Racine Avenue and Hillendale Drive.

New ADA rules for trails & shared-use paths will also be discussed, and parks director Craig Anderson, will report on current summer programs and the upcoming fall programs.
