Meeting Preview: School Board to Discuss Layoffs, Finance Committee to Discuss Vacated Library Positions
This week's meetings will cover employment issues, as well as a grant for Lake Denoon and new signage for City Hall
We will be at the following meetings, with particular interest in these agenda items:
Monday, May 23, School Board - 7:30 p.m., : The school board will be considering a resolution on final 2011-12 teach layoffs.
Tuesday, May 24, Finance Committee - 5:45 p.m., Alderman's room: there will be a discussion on refilling vacated library positions, including one full-time and two part-time positions.

Common Council - 7:00 p.m., City Hall lower level: A resolution to apply for lake grant funds for Lake Denoon to help develop a management plan will be considered; new signage for City Hall is also going to be considered (these items are pending recommendation from the Finance committee meeting, held prior).
