Muskego Recount Votes Finalized

Little shift in counts leaves the question whether Kloppenburg's campaign will take further action.

Chief of Staff for County Executive Dan Vrakas' office Ellen Nowak issued the completed counts for Muskego, which show only a slight change in vote tallies for Justice David Prosser and JoAnne Kloppenburg.

Original (and unofficial) election night returns showed 6,020 votes were cast for Prosser, and 2,207 for Kloppenburg.  Recount numbers indicated Prosser actually gained three votes (6,023) and Kloppenburg gained two votes (2,209), giving Prosser a net gain of one.

Nowak stated that there were "a few remaining wards in the City of Waukesha to complete" and that the Board of Canvass will be reconvening on Friday to determine what issues are remaining to be resolved.
