Chiaverotti Sworn in as Muskego's New Mayor
Kert Heranda, Keith Warner, Neome Schamberg, and Noah Fiedler begin new terms on the City Council.
A brief but efficient Common Council meeting Tuesday night featured the retirement of one mayor, the installation of a new mayor and the continuation of four aldermen in service to their respective districts.
Kathy Chiaverotti took the oath of office for mayor; Kert Harenda for District 2; Keith Werner for District 4; Neome Schamberg for District 6; and Noah Fiedler for District 7.
Judge Mark Gundrum presided over the swearing in ceremonies, and later expressed gratitude for his own experience in serving a portion of Muskego as an assemblyman in the 84th District.

"It's always been my experience that you have people who are passionate on the issues, but when it comes down to it, issues are resolved respectfully," he said. "The voters should be proud of everyone they have elected tonight.
The appointments for various committees were also made as a final point of business. Schaumberg was selected as Common Council President, Neil Borgman was appointed as Plan Commission Chairman and Werner was appointed as Chairman of the Little Muskego Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District.
