Park Arthur Bid Awarded for Phase I Construction
Park on city's north-central side will start to take shape with grading and paving.

The Common Council approved a resolution to award BCF Construction Corp the bid for the Phase I Construction of Park Arthur. The park is situated along College Avenue, just east of Lentini Drive.
The bid of $577,182.50 was the lowest of seven that were submitted, and provided the city with the most alternatives. The cost will cover construction including grading work and infrastructure, paving of a road and a portion of the middle parking lot, and screened topsoil for all four of the baseball fields.
The park features open agricultural land, and areas of woodlands and wetlands within a second environmental corridor. A boardwalk/trail system will be constructed through the wetlands and woodland area.
