Pickleball Court at Lions Park Incorrect
Muskego Parks and Rec. Dept. trying to gauge interest for the game in upcoming fall program guide, and may get help with correct layout of court.
At last night’s meeting of the Parks and Rec. Board, Director Craig Anderson informed the Board that the resident largely responsible for spearheading the effort to have a pickleball court created at Lions Park has sold his house and moved out of the city, and that the court, which was designed largely based on the information he provided, is incorrect.
Anderson said that the court does not leave enough room for proper serving. He told the Board the department is putting a blurb in its upcoming fall program guide to gauge how much interest there is in a pickleball court here in the city. If enough residents come forward expressing interest, Anderson said that the department will go from there in coming up with something. He said that a goodwill ambassador of the game in the region has come forward to offer his advice and insights.
