Special Common Council Meeting will Usher in New Mayor

Chiaverotti will be sworn in at City Hall, along with other aldermen.

The Muskego Common Council will convene for a special session Tuesday evening at 6 p.m., with the purpose to swear in Kathy Chiaverotti as mayor.

Chiaverotti defeated Luke Hudock in the April 5 election, and represents the first female in Muskego to hold the mayoral office.  She will succeed John Johnson, who has served since 2005, and will be Muskego's eighth mayor since it became a city in 1964.

Judge Mark D. Gundrum will administer the oath of office to Chiaverotti, as well as to other newly elected (re-elected) officials, including Aldermen Keith Werner, Kert Harenda, Neome Schaumberg and Noah Fiedler. A common council president and representatives from the council to various committees will also be elected during the meeting.
