Summer Park & Rec Programs Begin Strong, and Fall Continues to Form

Summer programs started Monday, and Muskego Parks and Rec Director Craig Anderson says they are off to a great start, while already looking to fall's offerings.

Summer programs in the Muskego Parks and Recreation department started Monday and, according to Director Craig Anderson, the department is seeing record numbers of participants in its various programs, returning to 2009 levels of participation.

Anderson said he took “a ton” of registrations this past Friday for the summer program, which this year bring more than 100 different choices to residents from toddlers to seniors. More than 20 of those programs are new this year.

While summer sizzles, staff are back to work on the fall program guide, which will be available to residents in September.
