Vote May 3, and Only at City Hall

Low turnout is expected for 'off season' election, but campaigns hope people understand the importance.

Despite several articles stating as much, most people either will not turn out, or will probably state that they weren't aware of a special election in Muskego and who's running.

However, both Jim Brownlow 's and Dave Craig's campaigns are hoping that voters are as motivated as they were last month, when a 52 percent turnout was seen.

Brownlow is the democratic candidate and is a Muskego resident.  He was formerly a librarian in the Muskego-Norway Schools.  Craig is the republican candidate and had served on Congressman Paul Ryan's staff for eight years.

In addition to the special election date, there will also be a special site for all polling districts.  The city had decided about two months earlier to hold the election at one polling place only as there was only one race and to reduce the staff required to run the election.  Therefore, all voters are asked to cast their ballots at City Hall on May 3rd.  Polling hours will be as usual, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
