New London company speeds up tornado cleanup in Menasha and Neenah (postcrescent.com) ā Neenah residents are seeing tornado debris disappear faster thanks to New London-based DTAK, which is running four cleanup crews in the city 12 hours a day under a subcontracted disaster-relief arrangement. Storm debris is being hauled to the Tullar Road drop-off site, where itās documented for potential state or FEMA reimbursement and ground into mulch that residents can eventually use.

Fox Valley Workforce Development Board opens support form for workers and businesses after Menasha tornado (wbay.com) ā Neenahās Fox Valley Workforce Development Board is coordinating help for workers and businesses hit by the July 27 Menasha tornado, using a new online support form. Residents and employers can share job losses or closures and get connected with local workforce specialists for unemployment guidance, job placement, and business support. The board, headquartered in Neenah, urges anyone affected to reach out promptly. Ā Ā Ā

Lucky Stables gives opportunities to riders of all abilities (spectrumnews1.com) ā In Neenah, the Lucky Stables Foundation is giving riders of all abilities weekly chances to build confidence, coordination, and horse-handling skills under founder Katie Brucksā guidance. Local riders recently brought home ribbons and a World Championship belt buckle from a Palomino show, and the group now hopes to fundraise so families donāt have to pay out of pocket for future competitions. Judith Jane Schultz Pedersen, 72, of Racine (racinecountyeye.com) ā Family and friends are remembering Judith Jane Schultz Pedersen, whose life took her from Fond du Lac to Menasha and Racine, with a final resting place at Oak Hill Cemetery in Neenah. She once worked as a Twin City Hostess in Neenah-Menasha and cherished community, music, bridge, and animals. A private celebration in Menasha will honor her long, family-centered life. Ā Ā Ā
