The city stresses it never takes permit or application payments by wire transfer, peer apps, or cryptocurrency, and urges anyone unsure about a request to call City Hall directly using official contact information.
   

• Citizen groups and homeowner suing over Flock surveillance camera use in Waukesha County (tmj4.com) — New Berlin is among 11 Waukesha County communities facing a new lawsuit over government use of Flock license-plate-reading cameras, with the city declining comment while the case proceeds.
