• New Berlin among 17 cities tied for 24th in Wisconsin for July scam reports (waukeshatimes.com) — New Berlin residents reported three scams to the Better Business Bureau's Scam Tracker in July, up from just one in June. While the dollar loss locally was small, the BBB warns that fraud is surging nationwide and encourages residents to use its online tool to research and report scams so neighbors can spot similar schemes sooner.
