📰 News we're reading

• Planned power outage for tip of peninsula (doorcountydailynews.com) — If you live or run a business in North Bay, Sister Bay, or up to Northport, expect a planned overnight power outage late Tuesday, October 6, into early Wednesday, October 7. The shutdown, requested for system upgrades, may shift one day later if weather interferes, so plan ahead for medical devices, garage doors, electronics, and refrigerated food.
