Children's Hospital Closes Oak Creek Urgent Care, Pediatrics Remains

OAK CREEK, WI — Children's Hospital of Wisconsin has closed its urgent care in Oak Creek, but other services such as pediatric primary care will remain at the same location, the hospital announced Tuesday in a Facebook post.

The website for the Children's Hospital urgent care location, 8375 Howell Avenue, now lists the Oak Creek site as closed. The hospital said it decided to close its urgent care location there, but the primary care office is not impacted.

"We know for families in Oak Creek, this may mean a little longer drive," the hospital said in a statement to Facebook. "In addition, the planned opening of our new urgent care at Forest Home on June 20 will support expanded hours and provide imaging services, meaning we can see more families and provide a better experience for visits that include broken bones."
