• 'I feel good': Man on jet ski rescues distressed swimmer in Lake Michigan (abc-7.com) — A woman was dramatically rescued from rough Lake Michigan waters off Bender Park in Oak Creek after bystanders, including a man on a jet ski, worked together to keep her afloat until firefighters arrived. The Oak Creek Fire Department took her to the hospital and is urging residents to respect Lake Michigan's powerful conditions and know their swimming limits.
   

• Wisconsin Bankers Advance Leadership and Industry Expertise at the Graduate School of Banking (wisbank.com) — Two bankers from Tri City National Bank's Oak Creek branch are among Wisconsin professionals graduating from the Graduate School of Banking at UW–Madison, earning executive leadership certificates. • Caledonia woman dies after head-on crash Wednesday, 3 others injured (wisn.com) — A serious head-on crash in Caledonia on Wednesday injured a 3-year-old child from Oak Creek and two Caledonia women, one of whom later died. Police say a southbound vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic on Highway 31, and bystanders plus a retired firefighter helped victims before crews arrived. Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact Caledonia police.
