Resident Reports BB Gun Incident Near School

A resident reported seeing children shoot his car with a BB gun before heading toward a nearby school.

OAK CREEK, WI — An Oak Creek resident said four children were caught on his home video surveillance camera shooting at his car. This incident was located a few houses down from another BB gun-related incident in which school windows were shot out, police logs indicate.

According to Oak Creek police call logs, a resident on the 9600 block of S. Jasper St. called authorities on Aug. 31 on a report that four suspects shot his car windshield with a BB gun overnight.

Police said that officers reviewed surveillance footage recorded on the resident's property. The footage showed four people shooting at the school behind his residence at just after midnight. Officers said the footage was not detailed enough to make out facial detail of the suspects.

According to police, officers noted damage to the man's car hood, driver's-side quarter panel and also the windshield.
