Stabbing Victims Identified By Police: 1 Dead, 1 Injured

Police are reporting that a 62-year-old woman was stabbed to death and a 50-year-old man suffered stab wounds but survived.

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek police have identified the victims of a Dec. 26 double stabbing in Oak Creek as 62-year-old Regina Rosebrock and 50-year-old Edwin Rosebrock.

Police reported that a suspect has been arrested, and that charges will be forwarded to the Milwaukee County District Attorney this week.

According to a FOX 6 report, a close friend of Regina Rosebrock said the two were planning to attend a class reunion in Indiana.

"They are having a reunion next September, and she just called me the other day and said 'why don't we just get a room together, and room together' and I said 'that would be great,'" said Frey to FOX 6.

Police said Edwin Rosebrock was treated for his injuries at a hospital and released.

The Dec. 26 double stabbing was the second deadly domestic violence incident in Oak Creek. Authorities say 25-year-old Kervin Pierce has been charged for the shooting death of his mother and the severe beating of his brother early Tuesday, Dec. 19 in Oak Creek.

According to court records, Kervin Pierce now faces charges of first-degree intentional homicide, attempted first-degree intentional homicide, strangulation and suffocation and battery by prisoners. If convicted, he faces life in prison.

According to a criminal complaint filed Friday in Milwaukee County, Pierce told investigators he felt "intense disrespect and was overwhelmed" the day of the shooting and beating. Pierce also told investigators that he felt disrespected by them for two or three months and was upset.
