Suspicious White Van Sighted, Police Called

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek police are following another lead after multiple residents called police after seeing a white van that resembled the one involved in an apparent child enticement case earlier this month.

According to Oak Creek police reports, multiple residents reported seeing a suspicious white van outside the Country Oaks Apartments just before 3 p.m. on Aug. 22.

The investigating officer reported that the van was unoccupied with nobody around and carpet rolls in the back. The vehicle registration did not list to an owner in the area.

The officer reported the vehicle on-scene was similar to the suspects' vehicle and took several photos of the vehicle that were forwarded to investigating officers.
