The answers varied. Some say ribs, others say sandwiches or lasagna. No matter your "treat yourself" meal, there are plenty of spots in and around Oak Creek to try. Here are the spots Oak Creek readers say they go to indulge:

Smoke Creek

Three people responded with Smoke Creek as their spot for indulgence. The recently opened barbecue joint is located at 10166 27th Street.

"The ribs," one reader says is their meal of choice.

"The southern fried ribs and bacon Bleu cheese slaw are what cravings are made of," another commenter said.

"Love their food," another comment reads.

Georgie Porgies

A spot known for its American fare, located at 9555 South Howell Avenue, Georgie Porgies took the spot for two commenters.

"Burger, fries, sundae," one commenter said.

Oak Creek Diner

Located at 6874 13th Street, Oak Creek Diner won praise from one person who said "Good food, nice people, and cheap …… only problem gets packed !!"

Barbiere's

Barbiere's, located at 1021 Milwaukee Avenue in South Milwaukee, won praise for its lasagna and garlic bread from one commenter.
