Woman Stabbed, Man Found Dead At Red Roof Inn: Police

Police said a woman was stabbed and a male suspect was found dead early at the Oak Creek Red Roof Inn early Sunday morning.

Police were called out to the 6300 block of 13th South Street for a domestic violence and battery stabbing call. A woman was stabbed multiple times and police say they found a man dead in a room at the Red Roof Inn.

OAK CREEK, WI — The Oak Creek Police Department found the male suspect of a domestic violence call dead in a room at the Red Roof Inn in Oak Creek early Sunday morning, the department said in a news release.

Police were called to the area for a call reporting domestic violence and stabbing battery. Police said in a news release a woman involved in the call was stabbed multiple times and sent to a hospital. Police attempted to get into the suspect's room with no answer.

Police found the man dead when they eventually gained access. The investigation remains active, according to police.

The incident would be the second person found dead at the Oak Creek hotel within a month. A man was found dead at the same address on Oct. 31. The death soon turned into a homicide investigation, police said.

Two people that police said were involved in the Oct. 31 death were later taken into police custody in Kentucky.
